Maestro news, Day 1

Well, this has been a good launch day: Maestro seemed to have hit the ground running, thanks to some very good marketing by NineStar, at least two great reviews, and some fans coming out of the woodwork.

I have fans. Wow, folks, thank you so very, very much!

Kristin at GayBook Reviews pretty much distilled down my whole writing process for Maestro, in her review here:

To paraphrase Susan Sarandon in Bull Durham, “Oh, my…” This is short, sweet, and steaming hot. I don’t recommend this for a commute because you may have to plead a hot flash when desperately fanning yourself to cool off.

And to indirectly answer her question, yes, this little 16K book seems very short, because it was adapted from a 6K story last fall. Along the path of revisions, editorial consultations (mostly the long-suffering editors correcting my mistakes and egging me on to ‘write hotter!’), and my swooning cover love…something remarkable happened. These three guys who had been part of a tiny little story set up camp in my head and politely asked for more.

I think I may love Leo, Andrew, and Mel, not least for managing to be incredibly polite while being really hot…

So there will be more. They have a story to finish. I have a lot of other unrelated stuff to write, including two other sets of characters who just shouted “Oi! What about us?” (These are not polite characters. They are all degenerate ruffians, and they will not shut up once they think I’m looking their way.)

In the meantime, you can find Maestro for sale here at NineStar Press.

Here at Amazon.

And here at AllRomance.

I’ll be adding more reviews and vendors as I find out about them.
