Due to an abysmal stroke of bad luck, I’ve lost two motor vehicles in the last week. The first is the Subaru above, which was rear-ended and pushed into another vehicle last week. I love this car but I may not be able to raise the $4K to fix it.
The second is my friend’s old Nissan truck, which lost a control arm this morning. That can be fixed.
This same dear friend can’t drive due to low-vision issues, and relies on me for his medical transport to dialysis and doctor appointments.
I’m looking into fixing one vehicle (if not the other), and arranging short-term transportation.
