Blue Moon: painted and embroidered fabric, poplar-wood, glass, bone, waxed polyester thread. Approx. 1.25” x 2” x 1” Theme: original poem about the phenomena of the blue moon…not the calendar quirk, but an actual blue moon. Private collection.

Road Through The Clouds: painted and embroidered linen scroll, wood, glass beads, waxed polyester thread. Approx. 3” x 10” unrolled. Topic: sketch of Colorado mountain road mixed with original poetry.  University of Colorado, Special Collections.



Prairie Skies: painted and embroidered map-folded and sewn linen, acrylic inks, glass, waxed polyester thread; soft upholstery fabric covers. Approx. 4” x 4” x 1” closed, 8” x 12” open. Topic: sketches and prose about the Front Range and prairies of eastern Colorado. University of Colorado, Special Collections.

Voices From The Past: masonite panels, poplar-wood box spine, leather, acrylic paint and gel medium, recycled nylon silkscreen, glass, cotton embroidery thread, waxed polyester thread. Approx. 5” x 6” x 2”. Topic: historical quotes and original prose about the freedom of speech, on masonite boards with collages of US postal stamps and other paper ephemera.  University of Denver, Special Collections.

Incantation: embroidered, inked, and printed linen and cotton fabric, oak, poplar-wood, glass, shell, bone. Approx. 9″ x 6″ x 2″. Topic: embroidered and printed panels inspired by Elinor Wylie’s black-and-white themed poem ‘Incantation’. Private collection.

Largo Canyon Sands: cotton rag map-folded paper, watercolor dyes, contour-cut and glued pasteboard covers. Approx. 4″ x 4″ x 1″. Students’ example made for Summit School of Ahwatukee, September 2007. No picture exists.
