Bye, Filigree’s Rule…

…And hi, Filigree’s Rule!

I’d hoped to leave all my Filigree’s Rule writing posts up on this blog, but a stipulation of Amazon means I have to privately publish them now. Effectively hiding them from internet search.

I’ve taken those posts, condensed some, expanded others, and updated everything I could into a more-easily read book version.

There will be digital and print versions of FILIGREE’S RULE: RED FLAGS IN PUBLISHING, launching in a few days. I’m keeping the digital book at $.99, the price of a cup of convenience-store coffee. Print will, alas, cost more (but look, you can read it on a sunny window seat while drinking a much-fancier cup of coffee!)

This is my first solo foray into nonfiction. Looking forward to seeing how it does.

As they go live, I’ll post Universal Buy Links here and in my Fiction section of the blog.

Here’s the blurb:

If you think the publishing industry seems like a hostile, bewildering wasteland, you’re not alone. Whether you want self-publishing, a small-press independent, or a big commercial publisher for your book, use this list of red flags, subtle clues, and other warning signs to weed out potential problems…before they become your problem!
