In 1983 a map I made for a D&D campaign seemed to have interesting things going on in the blank spots. I started telling stories about the map.
Those grew into the universe of the Lonhra Sequence, a massive space-fantasy setting spanning some 120,000 years of internal history. It centers around a mortal race created to be the courtesans and conquerors of the most-terrifying denizens of their universe. But what happens when those defenders become just as dangerous to everyone else?
